Traditional tarot is commonly understood as a way to discover our life path through self discovery and insight into the nature of our reality. Philosophy Cards replaces traditional tarot symbolism with concepts from Existentialism and related ideas influencing Existentialism.

The starting point for Philosophy Cards’ interpretations are concepts that focus on the role of infinite freedom and responsibility in reference to all aspects of human existence. Instead of conforming to the traditional idea of finding meaning through self discovery, Philosophy Cards emphasizes the role of interpretation and nudges us to create our own meaning and, ultimately, ourselves.
